Dingo State School is a small country school located in the township of Dingo, approximately 150 kilometres west of Rockhampton. Established in 1876 the school has provided essential primary education to children in the area for over 100 years. Dingo State School is attended by children who live in the township itself as well as those who live on surrounding properties.
Dingo State School has a very family orientated approach to learning. Our school motto of 'Live to Achieve' outlines our goals behind learning. All students are encouraged to achieve their best and strive to achieve their ambitions. Dingo State School is comprised of two multi-age classes, a Prep to Year 2 and a Year 3 to 7 class.
Our vision is for the school and the community it serves to collaborate in order to provide a happy, caring and stimulating educational environment where children will recognise and achieve their fullest potential, so that they can make their best contribution to society.
