Remembering those who served

Dingo State School ANZAC service

On the 24th of April Dingo State School held their annual ANZAC service. It started with all of the classes presenting their respective song or poem. The choir then sang 'The Last ANZAC' followed by one minute silence and the Last Post. Students, staff and parents then enjoyed ANZAC biscuits to finish off the morning. Thank you to the Army Cadets for attending our service.

Then on the 25th many students representing Dingo State School attended the ANZAC service at the town hall. They marched along side Army cadets and veterans, police, fire and ambulance services. They also presented a song, poem and other readings. It was a lovely service.
